Berkeley Hills Remodel

A whole-house remodel in the Berkeley Hills: every bathroom, the kitchen and a major seismic upgrade. The hard part was the site. An odd building layout and some stubborn trees meant a complicated scaffold and a fight to get heavy equipment in. Inside the walls we added heavy insulation throughout, then a new solar PV system and solar thermal panels for hot water. I ran this job as project manager with FB Design Build, just before I started my company, Beyond Green Construction.
