This project is a 160 sq ft new construction building, serving as a mixed use space, mostly office space but easily utilized as a guest house when needed. It features a hyper insulated construction! 9” walls (double 2×4 walls, with 1” space) creating a whopping R-40 insulation value for the walls (R-15 is standard), and a 7” closed cell spray foam insulation in the ceiling creating R-49 (R-28 is standard). With this massive insulation, the structure will be very easy to heat and cool. It also features an insulated 6” slab on grade for a very modern aesthetic.
